Born in 2000, Milo Ferrazzini began studying the cello at the age of 4 following the example of his father, the cellist Claude Hauri. His teachers were Marina Modesti, Beat Helfenberger and Taisuke Yamashita. Since October 2019 he has been studying at the prestigious Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, in the class of Maximilian Hornung. He has been awarded in national and international competitions and in particular, in 2018, he won the first prize at the Swiss Youth Music Competition in the highest category. In 2019 he won the first prize in the same competition in the chamber music category, in duo with the pianist Leonardo Crespi. Also in 2019 he won the first prize overall in the German national competition Jugendmusiziert together with the Trio con moto. In 2020 he was then a semifinalist in the international youth competition “Anna Kull” in Graz. The protagonist of the appointment is Tchaikovsky, with Rococo Variations op. 33 for cello and orchestra and Serenade for strings op. 48 Piece in the form of a sonatina.
