A project that had a long way coming and a reflection on a new concept of ‘chamber music’. At the core, the show relies on technological development—computers and digital instruments for a performative work where the author concretizes the metaphor of his entire existence in music. On stage, we will follow his breath in creating unpredictable scenarios, changes of rhythm, games of light that accompany the paths of sounds. Music and silence relate in a long-phrased dialogue growing more complex with every line. The result is a ‘definitive’ composition of Subotnick’s public performance work.
