After the success of the first edition, the cycle of meetings and visions Carta Bianca. Oral and visual histories of film festivals. Curated by Marco Dalla Gassa (Ca’ Foscari) and Carmelo Marabello (IUAV/VIU), in synergy with the Venice City Council’s Cinema Circuit and with the patronage of the Consulta Universitaria Cinema, the AFIC – Association of Italian Film Festivals and the Veneto Film Commission. The guest of this meeting is Nicoletta Romeo, director of the Trieste Film Festival: the first and main Italian event dedicated to Central-Eastern European cinema between the Politeama Rossetti, the Miela Theatre and the Ambasciatori Cinema, and three competitive sections that, far from being exhaustive, confirm the festival’s core.
