Created by Philippe Kratz, the new director of Nuovo Balletto di Toscana, together with Pablo Girolami, Sisifo felice is a choreographic diptych inspired by Albert Camus’ famous essay. Two distinct yet interconnected pieces explore the absurdity of existence and the possibility of conscious happiness. Eight performers move through a visceral, cyclical landscape where the body becomes an act of resistance. With live music ranging from DJ set to organ, the performance creates a suspended space between tension and release. A danced reflection on freedom, effort, and the meaning of life.
