A rock icon in a unique venue: Patti Smith chooses St. Mark’s Square in Venice for her only summer date in Italy in 2025, on 7 July, as part of the Festival della Bellezza. In an unforgettable atmosphere, the charismatic American artist will perform her masterpieces, songs that have made rock history and connected the artistic and poetic imagination of several generations. The event “Patti Smith in Venice” is part of the programme of the 12th edition of the Festival della Bellezza, whose theme in 2025 is “The Wonder”. Conceived around the idea of “Art in Art”, a unicum at international level, the Festival della Bellezza will be staged in 30 symbolic locations of the Italian historical-artistic heritage from the 6th century B.C. to the 20th century. Promoted by the Veneto Region among the “Great Events”, it is organised by the Idem association with the conception and artistic direction of Alcide Marchioro.
