The Jazz& programming continues with an unmissable event at Laguna Libre, signed in collaboration with Veneto Jazz. At the jazz club of the festival in Fondamenta Cannaregio, Paul Millns (piano and voice) and Butch Coulter (guitar and harmonica) are on stage. Paul Millns is considered an authentic talent of what is considered the ‘british blues’. At his side, on harmonica and acoustic guitar, Butch Coulter. A duo that boasts a long working relationship; they are unanimously considered outsiders, with a unique and inimitable style. Paul Millns is prodigious at the piano and his voice bears all the marks of someone who grew up listening to and alongside the greats of British rhythm and blues and beyond. His list of collaborations is filled with such venerable names as Eric Burdon and John Martin. We are talking about a musician who has built a reputation for himself in the circuit of harmonica players of his generation, especially in the field of roots-blues. In twenty five years of recording and world touring, he has formed partnerships with such legendary musicians as Long John Baldry, Albert Collins, Jimmy Page, Mick Taylor and Jeff Healey.
