The Bissuola Park Theater in Mestre, after the restoration works that recovered its rooms between 2019 and 2020, has configured itself in recent months as one of the liveliest cultural spaces, with a programming that has taken on from time to time the most disparate forms by hosting theatrical performances, contemporary and experimental music concerts, workshops capable of involving the most transversal sections of the population of an area that has too often remained dormant, far from the nerve centers of aggregation and socio-cultural development. On March 25th classical music will carve out a starring role, precisely with the Fauves Quartet formed by Rita Mascagna and Pietro Fabris on violins, Elisa Floridia on viola and Giacomo Gaudenzi on cello, in a program that includes Black Angels by George Crumb and the Quartet in D minor D 810 Death and the Maiden by Schubert.
The Fauves Quartet was formed in 2011, being immediately called as a guest of prestigious reviews, festivals and musical institutions in Italy such as the Quirinale concerts and La stanza della musica live on Rai Radio Tre. The interest of the young formation for the different executive styles is expressed in a repertoire that ranges from Renaissance writing for four voices to contemporary music.
