The double bill of Tomorrow’s Jazz Night returns, featuring two ensembles selected from the finalists of the Tomorrow’s Jazz Award promoted by Veneto Jazz. Opening the evening is Kairos (Gerardo Pizza on saxophone, Vincenzo Natale on accordion, Lorenzo Gagna on double bass, Stefano Riccio on drums): a quintet with roots in Irpinia that reinterprets the musical heritage of Southern Italy to give voice to the urgencies of the present, restoring to sound its visceral and political force. Following them is the Impulse Quartet (Nicholas Lecchi on tenor sax, Cristian Alberti on piano, Lorenzo Cantù on electric bass, Simone Giustini on drums): a group formed in the classrooms of the Conservatorio Luca Marenzio, capable of blending sonic exploration, refined interplay, and expressive energy with a modern and original sound.
