The Venice Carnival kicks off with “Heart to Heart”, a special Valentine’s evening that transforms Piazza San Marco into the world’s most romantic and enchanting stage. Hosted by Marco Maccarini and Chiara Perale, the event features Prince Maurice performing as an eclectic Casanova and Manuel Bruttomesso (aka Nespolo Giullare) portraying an unlikely Valentino.
Between humorous gags, moments of roguish romance, and performances featuring historic dances, pop opera, flamenco, boogie-woogie, and modern dance, the audience will enjoy an experience filled with live music and a DJ set that will ignite the night.
Special guests Jacopo Sarno and Silvia Scartozzoni, stars of Casanova Opera Pop by Red Canzian, will present the most intense musical numbers, introduced on stage by Red Canzian himself, while Alessia Pintossi debuts her new single Komorebi accompanied by a dance troupe.
Additionally, the “SHOUT YOUR LOVE” initiative offers couples the chance to proclaim their love from the stage of Piazza San Marco by sending in their couple selfie for a creative love declaration.
