The grand finale of Venice Noir 2025 celebrates the world of crime and mystery fiction with the presentation of the Venice Noir Award — a special recognition honoring an Italian or international author who has made an outstanding contribution to the noir, thriller, or mystery genre.
The award, designed by Australian artist Amy Thai and crafted in Murano glass by the historic Barovier&Toso ARTE, combines art, tradition, and storytelling in a unique tribute to the world of crime fiction.
The award ceremony marks the climax of the festival – an opportunity to meet writers, readers, and international guests, to share reflections on the genre, and to celebrate the stories that have surprised, moved, and innovated.
The evening concludes with an Aperitivo in Red by Select, inviting guests to continue their conversations with the authors and enjoy the festival’s distinctive atmosphere in the heart of Venice.
