Dancer and researcher Laura Panta collaborates with Sound and Experience Designer Vincent Glanzmann for the new residency of the New Echo System project at Palazzo Trevisan. Exploring a common research ground concerning the theme of ‘language in a state of neglect’ and ‘codes in ruins’, their collaboration seamlessly blends elements of dance, music, live performance, and installation, notation, and recording. Glanzmann’s interest in creating immersive experiences is intertwined with Pante’s understanding of the ambivalence implicit in the performative act. The format of the concluding presentation on Friday 15 November charts, through the dynamic fusion of their respective languages, a course of exploration at the margins of more traditional artistic definitions, inviting the audience to enter the space opened by the transdisciplinary possibilities of their collaboration.
