This exhibition follows the recent retrospective of the artist at the Guggenheim in New York and includes three large groups of work created between 2021 and 2022 and representing three key aspects of his practice. With his unmistakable style, the great master of American painting of the twentieth century tells his story through a selection of paintings based on the mid-century American designer Claire McCardell’s clothing, accompanied by large scale close-up representations of ink-toned oceans and grassy terrains in shades of green and yellow.
