Pistoia-born photographer Aurelio Amendola has dedicated much of his career to portraying artists in action. Curated by Bruno Corà, this exhibition consists of large-format photographic prints – sequences dedicated to images of Alberto Burri, Emilio Vedova, and Hermann Nitsch performing in their studios, alongside unique works by the artists them- selves. The spotlight is on the different working methods of the three master artists and, at the same time, on the activity of a great Italian pho- tographer who managed to establish a lasting bond and friendship with them.
