Featuring over 80 images created over the past ten years, Eye2Eye unfolds as a powerful visual triptych dedicated to portraiture, breaking through cultural and aesthetic boundaries to explore the essence of the human gaze. The exhibition is structured in three sections — Eyedentify, Truck Art, and My First School — and showcases the artist’s ability to create authentic dialogue with his subjects. Born in Milan and now based in Sydney, Andrea Francolini blends technical skill with emotional sensitivity to craft a deeply personal visual language. His work finds strength in the simplicity of direct eye contact, revealing stories and inviting empathy.

Curated by Denis Curti, Eye2Eye takes place on the first floor of Le Stanze della Fotografia, running concurrently with the exhibition Robert Mapplethorpe. The Classical Forms, which will be on view until January 6, 2026.
