Breathtaking, an installation by Fabrizio Ferri, officially opens on September 2 as the inaugural artistic event at Casa Sanlorenzo, the Venetian hub of Sanlorenzo Arts. Located in Dorsoduro beside the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Casa Sanlorenzo, designed by Piero Lissoni, is a 1940s palazzo reimagined to host exhibitions, artist residencies, and research on sustainability and creative innovation. The show features thirteen portraits of iconic figures wrapped in plastic, evoking the suffocating impact of pollution on marine ecosystems. A glass coffin filled with seawater and soundproof headphones intensify the immersive experience, highlighting the urgency of ocean preservation.
