Thirty years after transforming Venice and its canals with his ground-breaking project Chihuly Over Venice, American artist Dale Chihuly, who uses glass to transform spaces through experimentation with colour, light, transparency and form, returns with three new monumental sculptures installed on the exteriors of buildings along the Grand Canal and visible from the Accademia Bridge. The installations are accompanied at the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti by drawings, photographs, videos and documentation that trace the evolution of Chihuly’s creative process.
