The exhibition traces the evolution of Ding Yi’s abstract language. Titled Cosmotechnics – a concept borrowed from philosopher Yuk Hui – the pieces transform the Scarpa Area into a contemplative forest of images where they function as a planetary code and their arrangement creates a sinuous path reminiscent of traditional Chinese gardens. Ding Yi dialogues with Scarpa to create a constructive logic where painting, sculpture and architecture converge to form a grammar of thresholds that resonates with Venice itself.
