Through a wide range of expressive means, Daniel Pešta reflects the history and contemporary situation of the entire species Homo Sapiens. His project also addresses the question of determination. In a series of paintings, assemblages, spatial objects and installations created in the last few years (marked by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine), he analyzes the “evil gene” encoded in the deep essence of some individuals who fundamentally affect other people’s destiny.
