The Archivio di Stato di Venezia re-opens its doors as an exhibition venue with ARCHIVIO by Dayanita Singh, curated by Andrea Anastasio. The project weaves together two trajectories: the artist’s exploration of Italian institutional archives and her personal atlas of images made in the country. Photographs, books, and modular structures transform the space into a living organism, where ordering also becomes imagining. The archive thus emerges as a mobile architecture of memory, capable of generating new stories. The exhibition will be accompanied by talks and mentoring activities with Venetian universities, extending reflection on knowledge as a shared practice.
