The solo exhibition curated by Mario Codognato is dedicated to one of Austria’s most legendary living artists. Weigand’s large scale wood engravings in Rising Waters | Falling Skies explore the history of the end of the world by combining icons of punk and surf culture with Baroque art and its techniques, thus creating new and unexpected worlds. The bold protagonists of his works seek to escape the end of the world.
