A constellation of more than 300 works invites visitors to rediscover Horst P. Horst, a master who transformed photography into an alphabet of light and proportion. Curated by Anne Morin with Denis Curti, the exhibition goes beyond his iconic Vogue fashion images to reveal the vision of an artist who shaped photographs as if they were architectures, suspended between discipline and grace. Trained between Hamburg and Paris, alongside Le Corbusier, Horst brought Bauhaus principles and the idea of minimal space into photography. His compositions carve volumes and chiaroscuro with the precision of a designer. The exhibition path leads through fashion, portraits, and still lifes, revealing the complexity of an artist who intertwined modernism and classicism. Punctuating the exhibition are portraits of Coco Chanel, Marlene Dietrich, Salvador Dalí, among and many other key figures of the century.
