As a direct response to the theme of the Biennale – Foreigners Everywhere – Arts Connection and Food of War have created a body of work that addresses the themes of migration and the cultural phenomena underlying it. The project, composed of a video art piece, performances, and a series of public poetry events, becomes the beginning of the journey that the audience must undertake to enter the universe created by Arts Connection and Food of War. It’s a universe of cultural hybrids that bridges identities and humanizes the often othered figure of the migrant.
