On the occasion of her ninetieth birthday, Lore Bert has created a site-specific installation that fills the church space with work in paper and neon light. Two large rings occupy the nave: one incorporates a spiral of luminous spheres suggesting a tension between concentration and openness, while the other features cloverleaf elements that reference the cardinal virtues. In the choir, a luminous sculpture introduces the presence of numbers. The whole creates an environment where light, form and space articulate a reflection on order, perception and symbol.
