The latest cycle of works by painter Marco Petrus (b. 1960) is inspired by the rigorous, measured lines of the typical Venetian breeches worn by characters depicted in scenes in a number of canvases by Vittore Carpaccio and Giovanni Mansueti, on display in Venice’s Gallerie dell’Accademia.
