Born in Vienna in 1940, the only woman among the founding members of the Wirklichkeiten (Reality) group of artists, her compositions, unbound and free and committed only to their truth, are poised between abstraction and figuration and between the unconscious and the intentional. Curated by Luca Massimo Barbero, the exhibition also contains previously unseen paintings by the Viennese artist inspired by the works in the Cini Gallery, to underline the relationship between her paintings and art history.
