The exhibition consists of approximately 20 works by Anna Colitti, a combination of photographic self-portraits and drawings that address profound and universal themes. Colitti prefers to use self-portraiture to express her artistic content, which ranges from the exploration of identity to the evocation of memories, touching on reflections about myths, rituals, and philosophical issues. Her works are steeped in a deep respect for the history of art, to which the artist ideally reconnects. Many of her works explore archetypes and stories that, despite their roots in the past, continue to resonate with humanity. Prominent among the themes addressed are the myth of Dionysus and alchemical figures.
