Over the course of a 37-year career, Roland Dufau has brought out the best of the work of over 220 photographers, creating exceptional prints from their slides using the Swiss technique known as Cibachrome. A quote by American photographer Robert J. Steinberg has accompanied him throughout his career: “For me, the most sensual art object is a beautifully executed photographic print.” Roland Dufau has built a unique private collection, now comprising over 1,000 prints, a selection of which Fondation Bru presents in dialogue with Reza Deghati.
