Born from the collaboration between the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation and the Contini Art Gallery, it is the first Venetian stage of a cycle of exhibitions by Andrea Valleri promoted by the Contini Art Gallery. In addition to the artist’s works, the exhibition also collects a series of finds from the Byzantine and Christian Museums and the Epigraphic Museum of Athens. The title recalls the continuity between classical, Byzantine art and the Venetian tradition. It is presented by prof. Bruno Bernardi in the dual role of President of the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation and Consul of Greece in Venice.
