On the occasion of his seventieth birthday, Wallace Chan presents an exhibition project that spans Venice and Shanghai: a new series of monumental titanium sculptures unfolding between the sacred space of the Cappella della Pietà and the architectural space of the Scala del Bovolo, creating a deeply immersive environment. Inspired by Bosch’s imagery and liturgical symbolism, the works evoke the various stages of life and converge in a reflection on transformation, connecting matter and the spiritual dimension.
