The setting-up of the exhibition designed by Tadao Ando is a reinterpretation of the huge spaces of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia to offer an all-encompassing experience concerning the art of the Chinese master Zeng Fanzhi. Through two new cycles on display for the first time, the artist redefines abstract art through figurative representation, a sort of provocation to invite the viewer to recognize the superiority of painting as an art and a centuries-old craft.
