In the heat of the summer Venice offers the opportunity to slowly ‘get lost’ inside more than one hundred contemporary art exhibitions between Arsenale and Giardini, and at the many magnificent exhibition venues around town.

Two of them are closing this week: Lüpertz at Palazzo Loredan and Finding Fioretta at Ikona Gallery (Campo del Ghetto Nuovo).

The European Cultural Centre invites us on 6 August at Palazzo Mora with Barbara Polla, founder of Sharing Perama, a meeting that explores the themes of the Sharing Perama – Sharing Art exhibition, part of Personal Structures – Reflections.

For an aperitif or a dinner with live music: jazz at Laguna Libre or on the terrace of the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal, soul music at the Hilton Hotel (Taste & Soul). The concerts, drinks and cichetti of Veneziasuona animate in pure Venetian style Parco Ex-Umberto I in Cannaregio.

Ocean Space invites us to spend the evening of 10th August at the San Lorenzo Complex. The program includes astronomical-themed conferences and the opportunity to visit their exhibitions The Soul Expanding Ocean # 3 & # 4, which will be open until 11pm.
