A Divine Element

At the Palazzo Ducale in Venice, the exhibition Etruscans and Veneti. Water, Cults and Sanctuaries explores the role of water in the rituals and religious practices of the two ancient civilisations of pre-Roman Italy. Through archaeological artefacts, sanctuaries, healing springs and port settlements, the exhibition explores the relationship between water, worship and the supernatural, from Etruria to ancient Veneto.
