“My idea of activating the audience is to remind them that they are alive. That
they have a pulse.” One of the most influential Australian artists, Marco Fusinato (Melbourne, 1965) explores the frontiers of art, music com- position, and performance art to investigate the dimensions of sound experimentation and visual research. Fusinato is interested in the interaction of opposing forces – noise and silence, order and disorder, purity and contamination – and stages a visceral experience that puts the focus on the audience. His live performances at the Pavilion will see the artist playing an electric guitar to generate signals and escalate sound and image saturation.
