Iron scaffolds, curved phenolic tapes, sculptures made from burnt, perforated, and cut wood scraps, along with branches, logs, fragments of pipes, and metallic knots connecting them. Luciana Lamothe’s immersive installation invites visitors to navigate this unconventional dwelling, a space that embodies queer principles of support and symbiosis. Beyond its material form, the artwork urges visitors to reflect on man’s impact on the planet. It evokes a present grappling with a confluence of crises: climate, migration, economic disparity, social unrest, and territorial disputes.
