By supposing aliens’ landing on Earth, artists of different nationalities wonder about the impact this event would have on mankind. Which of the two entities, just come into contact, could be defined as “different”? Taking on a relative meaning, diversity becomes a force capable of overturning world’s expectations and questioning conventional thinking. The project is inspired by the 1997 science fiction movie Contact, where the protagonist (Jodie Foster) is also considered “different” for her determination to establish first contact with an extraterrestrial civilization.
