Inuuteq Storch’s pictures challenge stereotypical perceptions of the large Danish North Atlantic colony, immersing the audience in the harsh yet poetic photographs of the artist’s life in the city of Sisimiut. Overlaying historical images from family archives with snapshots of everyday contemporary life, Storch presents a fresh narrative of Greenlandic culture, highlighting the themes of identity and decolonial commitment.
