Facing the impact of globalization and technology on the human psyche, artist Elias Sime from Addis Ababa presents a new body of work. In his multidisciplinary and material-focused practice, Sime layers and intertwines technological equipment into lyrical and intricate sculptural assemblages. The use of colors, patterns, and grids often hints at natural landscapes, evoking both the environment and man’s footprint on Earth.
