The present is a place where no one can remain, as it is the touchpoint of what has already been and what is yet to come. With Thresholds, Germany invites the Israeli artist Yael Bartana and the German director Ersan Mondtag to portray, on the one hand, a scenario of a catastrophic present, on the brink of self-destruction, and on the other, a narrative in which past ages come back to life. A third part of the project will take place on Certosa Island, with the participation of a group of artists moving in the realms of hydro-acoustics and cybernetic art.
