Eight Nigerian diasporic artists explore the many “Nigerias” that populate the collective imagination through site-specific works created specifically for the exhibition, integrated into a path enriched by a selection of Nigerian artifacts and historical ephemera. Nigeria Imaginary translates into a thorough investigation of the legacies of the colonial past on the present post-independence nation, aiming to envisaging a future of hope led by new generations.
