Nika Špan’s project is introduced into the historical context of Venice as a foreign body, an alien and unexpected element, an enigmatic and unnamable entity that speaks of itself, telling the story of its entry into the sphere of art. In an experiment approaching meta-art, it is therefore the work itself that speaks of its artistic experience, making us think about concepts such as authorship, the nature of artistic practice, the value of a work, and the legitimization of such a phenomenon called art.
