TREVOR YEUNG

The Hong Kong artist Trevor Yeung explores the world of emotions, desire, and power relationships through the concept of attachment, both in terms of a feeling of connection with objects and as a longing for a special person. The exhibition, curated by Olivia Chow, assistant curator of the visual arts section of M+, moves between the artist’s inner experiences and his observations concerning relationships between humans and aquatic systems, with references ranging from his father’s seafood restaurant to pet shops, to feng shui compositions.
