Using reclaimed materials, Turkish artist Gülsün Karamustafa creates sculptures that reflect the current state of the world, reduced to a battlefield ravaged by wars, forced migrations, environmental crises, and social injustices. Evoking both physically and emotionally the void caused by unprecedented and seemingly endless devastation, the installation offers a clear look on contemporary human and environmental challenges, inviting the audience to become fully aware of the reality surrounding them.
