An immersive exploration establishes a long-distance dialogue between the Uruguayan Eduardo Cardozo and the Venetian Tintoretto. Divided into three acts, this dialogue reveals the complexity of artistic identity and creative process. The Nude is Cardozo’s studio wall, transferred to Venice using the “stacco” (detachment) technique. The Garments is an interpretation by the Uruguayan artist of one of Tintoretto’s sketches of Paradiso. Finally, The Veil is a piece of fabric sewn with the raw cotton canvas scraps used to transfer the studio wall.
