A distinguished representative of kinetic and social art in Venezuela, Juvenal Ravelo (1934, Caripito, Monagas) is known for his tireless investigations into the fragmentation of light and color and for creating works, both physical and virtual, that involve the audience in person. For this Biennale, Ravelo has set up a chromatic environment and invites visitors to complete the work by painting a ten-meter wall during collective “street art” sessions.
