CATALONIA IN VENICE

Water Parliaments explores how rivers, deltas, basins, and wetlands shape cultural landscapes, traditions, and ecosystems, while also addressing global ecological challenges, with a particular focus on the Catalan, Valencian, and Balearic contexts. The project unfolds across four components: the exhibition at Docks Cantieri Cucchini, the international workshops The Laboratories of Futures: More than 100 Local Voices, the book 100 Words for Water: A Vocabulary, and the online archive The Atlas: Water Architectures. Architecture thus engages with cultural and ecological narratives, connecting humans, ecosystems, and possible futures through water.
