The ocean as an active archive of deep time. Seven international artists and collectives transform the former Church of Santi Cosma e Damiano on Giudecca island into an immersive environment made of sound, light, and computational systems. Whale vocalizations, acoustic landscapes of the lagoon, the bioluminescence of plankton, and the bioelectrical signals of an olive tree translated into sound: each work turns non-human forms of intelligence into sensory experiences, making perceptible the interdependence between cosmos, ocean, and earth life. The exhibition closes on June 8, World Oceans Day.
