The Austrian project, taking place at the Giardini Pavilion and in other exhibit spaces across the city, explores in a radical and provocative way the interactions between body, water and technology, continuing the cycle of experimental performances Études, which Florentina Holzinger, a Vienna-born artist and choreographer, has been developing since 2020. Moving across dance, performance, opera, and theatre, Holzinger weaves together traditional canons, pop culture, and counterculture, continuously redefining the line between spectacle and act of subversion.
