Already present at the 2024 Theatre Biennale with After All Springville – a house in metamorphosis inhabited by creatures that are half-human, half-object – the Belgian artist fills the space with a living sculpture, drawing the public into an arena where language, music, and collective disorientation collide. Plaster words move through the space – carried, passed along, dragged – as musicians and dancers go through them in an escalating spiral of physical rituals. The Pavilion is never fully silent: even when the performance is over, the words left behind continue to resonate, like remnants of a prayer wall or a karaoke machine from a vanished civilization.
