The project draws inspiration from the dieffenbachia, known in Brazil as comigo ninguém pode, a toxic plant that has become a symbol of ancestral protection and resilience. With a title that hints at a vegetal, spiritual, and political power, the exhibition brings together historical and recent works by Adriana Varejão and Rosana Paulino through chromatic, material, and iconographic overlaps that rewrite memory as an act of resistance. Paintings, sculptures, and drawings weave together an imaginary world where nature, faith, and spirituality intertwine, restoring visibility to what official history has removed.
