The Greek-Norwegian architect and artist Andreas Angelidakis presents an immersive installation where history, classical ruins and digital dynamics converge with Plato’s myth of the cave – invoked by the artist to interpret our era of post-truth and the rise of nationalist populism. Set up as an escape room, the Pavilion embodies a game-like reality, engaging symbolically with the paradox of a building that attempts to escape its own “self” – and, by extension, its own history.
